For the eighth consecutive year, Community Partners International (CPI) has received the full 4-Star rating for best practice financial stewardship, accountability and transparency from Charity Navigator, the largest and most-utilized independent nonprofit evaluator in the U.S. The rating includes a perfect 100% score for transparency and accountability. In a letter confirming the rating, Charity Navigator President and CEO, Michael Thatcher, writes, “Only 4% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 8 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Community Partners International outperforms most other charities in America. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Community Partners International apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
To place this in deeper context, of the more than 1.5 million registered nonprofits in the U.S., only 0.2% currently hold a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator. Commenting on the 4-Star rating, CPI's Executive Director, Dr. Si Thura, said, ”I dedicate this achievement to our supporters, staff, partners and volunteers whose dedication to our shared cause makes our work possible. Through our commitment to excellence, we honor their investment and trust in us.” For the full Charity Navigator report on CPI, please visit the following link: https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=11663 Comments are closed.
