Community Partners International (CPI) funds and administers a small number of education scholarships in selected countries in Asia. Details of open scholarship application processes are available below:
SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT: Master of Public Health (MPH) International Program at Khon Kaen University, Thailand Application Deadline: April 18, 2024
Overview Community Partners International (CPI) is partnering with the Khon Kaen University (KKU)’s Faculty of Public Health (FPH) in Thailand to offer 10 tuition fee scholarships for the one-and-a-half to two-year Master of Public Health (MPH) International Program.
The scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates working with community organizations that provide health and humanitarian services to vulnerable populations from Myanmar.
This special MPH International Program will require three months of on-campus study at KKU (July 1 to September 30, 2024). The rest of the course (assignments, research, and field workshops, etc.) can be conducted at candidates’ home/work locations. If candidates opt to remain on campus throughout the special program, KKU will support their visa application process.
CPI will provide 10 full or partial tuition fee scholarships for the MPH International Program. Successful candidates will need to cover their own travel, visa, accommodation, and other expenses during the study period at KKU.

Bachelor degree certificate and scanned copies of transcripts

CPI and KKU will interview the applicants and finalize the candidate selection together. Successful candidates must enroll separately with KKU Graduate School after receiving confirmation of their scholarship award from CPI.
Candidates will be informed of the results of the scholarship selection process on May 10, 2024.
SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT: Master of Primary Health Care Management (MPHM) International Program at the ASEAN Institute of Health and Development, Mahidol University, Thailand Application Deadline: April 18, 2024
Overview Community Partners International (CPI) is partnering with the Mahidol University’s ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD) in Thailand to offer 10 tuition fee scholarships for the one-year Master of Primary Health Care Management (MPHM) International Program.
The scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates working with community organizations that provide health and humanitarian services to vulnerable populations in remote and conflict-affected areas of Myanmar.
This MPHM International Program is a one-year on-campus study at AIHD, Mahidol University (August 2024 to July 2025). The pre-requisite courses will commence in July 2024 for candidates who require them AIHD will support the visa application process for all the candidates.
CPI will provide 10 full or partial tuition fee scholarships for the MPHM International Program. Successful candidates will need to cover their own travel, visa, accommodation, and other expenses during the study period at AIHD, Mahidol University.
Objectives By the end of the program, students will be able to:
Explain the theoretical concepts and the interconnection of various fields of knowledge in primary health care management.
Evaluate information and its sources critically and incorporate selected information into his or her learning base and research to solve the problems associated with the primary health care management system.
Work as a team with effective interpersonal communication skills to establish and enhance personal and work-based relationships.
Perform the statistical analysis and its interpretation, communication, and presentation with appropriate information technology.
Understand and apply professional and personal ethics, discipline, and honesty.
Graduate requirements The total time of study should not exceed the study plan.
Students must complete courses as stated in the curriculum, at least 24 credits of coursework with a minimum CUM-GPA of 3.00, and a thesis (12 credits).
Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
Students must participate and pass at least four soft skill development activities of the Graduate Studies, at Mahidol University
Students must submit and present theses, pass the public oral thesis defense, and be approved by the thesis examination committee appointed by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
Parts of the thesis are required to be published or accepted in a national or international academic database journal, according to the announcement of the office of higher education commission or present in an international conference proceeding according to the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
Application qualifications All applicants must have:
Graduated with a degree in medical and health-related fields.
A grade point average > 2.50.
A good command of English (TOEFL score of 500 and above or IELTS score with a minimum of 5).
If an applicant does not meet the above criteria but has other suitable qualifications and experience, s/he may be considered to apply for admission by the program committee.
