World Refugee Day: Hope Away From Home
On World Refugee Day, we pay tribute to refugees who improve their communities.
In Kutupalong Refugee Camp, Bangladesh, Rohingya volunteer workers supported by Community Partners International provide many essential services to fellow refugees. They are the first line of health care and first aid. They help pregnant women access healthy pregnancies and safe births. They help children get vaccinated against deadly diseases. They act as first responders in emergencies. They repair and maintain toilets, water wells, and other sanitation facilities. They help keep their communities clean and safe.
