Dr. Khine Wai Wai Oo
Program Director - Maternal and Child Health
As Community Partners International’s (CPI) Program Director for Maternal and Child Health (MCH), Dr. Khine Wai Wai Oo is responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluating CPI’s MCH and Gender-based Violence (GBV) programming in Myanmar. Dr. Khine Wai Wai Oo joined CPI in late 2012 to help coordinate CPI’s infectious disease programs. In late 2014 she was promoted to Program Manager, supervising and supporting staff across CPI’s MCH, infectious disease and health systems strengthening programs, before assuming her current role in January 2017. Prior to joining CPI, Dr. Khine Wai Wai Oo spent over three years with the Myanmar Council of Churches (MCC) as a Field Medical Officer in Chin State and Sagaing Division, and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, for MCC’s Community-based Malaria Prevention and Control project. Dr. Khine Wai Wai Oo holds a Master of Public Health Degree from Mahidol University, Thailand, and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degrees from the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, Myanmar.
