We’ve learned that improving health in Myanmar works better and lasts longer when the community leads. Whether tackling malaria in remote mountain villages or training the next generation of public health leaders, everything we do is based on partnership and driven by local organizations. Together we can go where large international organizations can’t, and reach people government agencies don’t serve.

Safe births, children who have essential immunizations and enough to eat, prevention and treatment of infectious disease, community health education — these are the foundations for healthy, vigorous communities.
